The Clothes for a Smile 2015 initiative was a great success in Thane. There was an overwhelming response and we received more than 700 pieces of clothing for children, women and men. There were good clothes for newborn babies, kids, teenagers, women and men.
The clothes were distributed to two groups of families living on the streets and the remaining were given to an orphanage.
The reaction of the kids and the adults while receiving the clothes and toys was very heart rending.
Jyothi Prakash, Trupti Nachane, Ruchi Bhargava, Sonika Khilnani and Udita made the entire process smooth and successful.
