ASHA Project

We are delighted to share a heartening development in our longstanding collaboration with Literacy India and Gurgaon Chapter. Through the dedication and commendable efforts of our Gurgaon members, we proudly introduce the ASHA PROJECT,  an initiative aimed at uplifting and empowering women who have faced disadvantages in life.

The project focuses on conducting workshops to instill confidence and self-esteem in these resilient women. The inaugural sessions covered crucial topics such as self-confidence and self-esteem, led by the insightful Abha Chaudhry - Chapter President Chandigarh and Gurgaon, and goal setting and time management, facilitated by the dynamic Pallavi Chaudhuri.

Five women from economically weaker sections, deprived of social security, participated in these workshops. Eager for financial independence, they were keen to enhance their skills and build confidence. The Asha Project is an ongoing venture, with monthly four-hour workshops providing these women with practical skills for their work life, fostering personal development, confidence, and self-esteem.

Kudos again to Team Gurgaon for leading and curating these transformative sessions and making a difference
