On 20th May 2015 we experienced IMPA Delhi and Gurgaon Chapters coming together for the first time for a session at ICBI’s South Extension Center where apart from the Members of IMPA, Non Members were invited to participate in the session as well.
The opening remark was made by Atika Dhandhia, General Secretary – Delhi Chapter, where she welcomed all and set the ball in motion by giving the agenda for the day.
Anshu Gupta, President Delhi chapter and Bindu Mukerjee, President Gurgaon chapter then took everyone through the various achievements and activities carried out by IMPA, which was received with a heartening response by all and immediate inquiries by the non members to convert to members of IMPA.
Mr. Somasundaram addressed the audience with his inimitable élan and told each one how this platform can be used not only to do some good work but also to network, which is the key to spread business as an Image Consultant.
Samira Gupta , Pooja Thakur, and Renu Mehra were the next set of speakers who shared their journey as an Image Consultant and how they made it BIG in this field. Many questions were answered and tricks of the trade revealed. Truly an inspiring session for everyone.
After a working lunch, Niti Luthra, a renowned Makeup artist demonstrated on the participants how to go about a Day look, Smokey eyes, Nude Day look, and Evening look. Also, she included tricks to do some amazing and quick hairstyles. The best part of the session was that the makeup artist answered all the questions satisfactorily and was more than willing to share all makeup and hair secrets. The session had everybody enthralled and glued to their seats till the end
In the end the Vote of Thanks was given by Kavita Bhalla .
Looking at the heartening response, this surely seems the first of the many such sessions that are going to be organized by IMPA .
