IMPA Chandigarh Chapter Collaboration with SWABHOVIK
Introduction to SWABHOVIK:
Vision: To provide basic essentials to masses
Mission: Holistic approach in one identified region
Aim: Improve marginalised Family income

SWABHOVIK is an initiative spearheaded by Mr. Neeraj Mehta. He is an Entrepreneur and philanthropist. SWABHOVIK aims to provide basic essentials to children of underprivileged migrant workers and contributes to their holistic development and helps them become financially independent.
IMPA Commitment and Contribution to the cause
Members at IMPA Chandigarh Chapter had visited their premises earlier in February and kick started the project in second week of the month. We have a commitment of 3 months that is renewable.
We have managed the programme professionally by providing them with a monthly roster and the members submit a session synopsis to IMPA office bearers after every session with pictures.
We train the children on various topics and our members volunteer to go there once or twice a week depending on their schedules.

- Poonam Dewan & Jyoti Solaria: Yoga, Confidence building and Happiness Quotient
- Omkareshwari Pal: Dining Etiquette
- Dr. Harleen Gill: Grooming and Dental Care
- Public Speaking: Pragati Goyal & Raahat
Overall Coordination & Administration is managed by Raahat, Chapter Secretary, under the guidance of Chapter President, Ms. Abha Chaudhary. Due to the increase in cases of the ongoing Pandemic we have taken a break from classroom sessions.
Going Virtual
Mr. Neeraj Mehta is launching and LMS portal soon that will be covered by Hindustan Times as well. They are currently in the process of training the parents to help their children use the portal for virtual sessions.
Going virtual with the CSR initiative will also give us the opportunity to include our outstation Members in Chandigarh Chapter. We are in the process to shift to a virtual LMS training portal with SWABHOVIK in the near future.
