On the occasion of Autisim week, IMPA Vadodara chapter members, Deepika Pradhan and Khevna Nagarsheth, conducted a one and half hour workshop for the staff of Disha Autisim centre, Vadodara on 12th April, 2014.

There were 12 staff members – clinic counselor, physiotherapist, accountant, tutor, president, and other staff.

The topics covered in the session were a combination of inner and outer values. The focus was on building inner values like patience, motivation, positivity, etc. along with outer values – image and it’s components.

There was a complete and practical understanding about why image management is important as a teacher of an autistic child, and how parents feel secure with you with regards to their child’s upbringing, if you manage your image properly.

The Vadodara Chapter shall be doing another session for parents shortly.
