IMPA Vadodara in association with Skin Sootra conceptualized and organized a learning event on "The Tie - Dye Craft, an Experiential Learning Event to Explore, Experience and Appreciate the Traditional Craft."

The workshop commenced on a beautiful note with Ms. Reshmaben sharing her personal story, her journey to entrepreneurship and success from practicing & reviving this traditional craft of Tie-Dye to today employing more than 50 women artisans who create Tie-Dye & Bandhani outfits and earn a livelihood‍.

This was followed by the practical & immersive learning where the participants tied the fabric in a pattern and then dyed it in their favourite colours.

It was a truly enriching and inspiring experience for one and all to know the history of the craft and how it is practiced in today's times.

The session also opened conversations on fabrics & patterns of India, colour schemes in a fun-filled, immersive ambience and it was therapeutic as well to put away the digital devices and learn hands-on...
