The visit to the House of Latha Putanna organised by Bangalore chapter went off very well. The team was very warm and welcoming and helped us get a practical knowledge on ethnic and indo-western clothes, celebrity styling , saree draping demo, different kinds of embroidery work and fabrics. Participants were almost transported to another era as we were made aware of our rich heritage and culture through handloom fabrics and different kinds of work. Learners were infromed about conscious and sustainable fashion. Work being done towards reviving and retaining our cultural heritage through beautiful and gorgeous outfits. Everyone were finally sent away with beautiful little hand embroidered ethnic phone pouches.
