A sneak-peek into the world of phonetics and communication
Kolkata chapter’s very first IMPA event was a wonderful session taken by Dipannita Banerjee, an expert in Communicative English and Phonetics. The session gave the participants an insight over communication and phonetic skills. The first hour of the session focused on bringing our attention to the importance of listening and speaking skills whereas, the second half concentrated on phonetic symbols and pronunciation. Dipannita made great efforts in putting up the whole presentation which was appreciated by all the participants.
