Session on Email Etiquette for Employees (Junior & Middle Management) of Kotak EducationFoundation

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the IMPA Mumbai Chapter and the Kotak Education Foundation, the dynamic Mumbai Chapter Secretary, Nishi Shukla, conducted Part 2 of a highly engaging session on Email Etiquette for a diverse group of 24 employees, comprising a mix of junior and middle-level participants. Although the employees had a basic understanding of email nuances, the session empowered them to refine their email communication skills to enhance clarity, effectiveness, and professionalism.

A variety of interactive activities were thoughtfully curated to keep the participants engaged and to make learning fun and memorable:

  • Speed Networking: Participants spoke about themselves using four-pointers, which helped elevate their comfort levels and foster a sense of camaraderie among the group
  • Collage Activity: Participants created a collage on the dos and don'ts of email communication. They segregated and decoded printed slips, with one participant explaining the reasoning behind each choice
  • Role Play: Two participants enacted a role play based on a customer complaint scenario. The audience observed and analyzed the interaction, and the trainer, Nishi Shukla, debriefed them to clarify the key takeaways
  • Scenario Practice: Participants applied the learnings to four scenarios, crafting appropriate email responses and submitting them to their coordinator for review.

All activities took place in teams based on participants' expectations from the training. This approach allowed them to learn from each other and build stronger connections.
Kudos to Team Mumbai for their continued partnership and for delivering such impactful sessions!
