IMPA Mumbai collaborates with Utkarsh Foundation for a session on Communication Skills

IMPA Mumbai member Sumitha Nair conducted an impactful Communication Skills session for 22 employees of the Utkarsh Foundation.

The session explored various types of communication, focusing on non-verbal elements such as body language, posture, eye contact, gestures, silence, spatial distance, and tone while highlighting their vital role in enhancing personal and professional growth.

Key sub-topics, including Telephone Etiquette and Email Etiquette, were comprehensively covered, providing participants with practical insights to improve workplace communication.

To reinforce the learning, participants engaged in activities such as Communication Origami, role plays, and other interactive exercises. These activities enabled them to observe and practice non-verbal communication, fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
The session was highly appreciated for its practical approach and direct relevance to everyday workplace interactions and left participants equipped with valuable skills to enhance their communication.
