Session Fabric to Fashion by Sona Bose was an informative and enriching. She discussed about different fibers, prints, printing, fabrics and weaves like minakari, Jamdani, Pheku, Patan Patola etc. She shared videos, pictures of different weaves and fabrics. She explained about each and every fabric and weaves. She also showed some samples of different weaves where participants had a feel of different fabrics. She also shared about upcoming trends in textiles for fashion industry for next seasons like Spring Summer, Autumn Winter 2020. She answered to participants queries with hands on information. We have received an excellent from participants and they have one thing to put across if this could have been for little longer duration.
