On 28th June 2021 IMPA Surat Chapter organized a session on ‘Kaleidoscope’. The session was curated and conducted by Ms. Preeti Duggal. In this session participants learned how to calculate the base metal i.e.: Gold Rate of 24k, 22K, 18K, 14K.They also learned that 10K gold jewellery is not called as Gold Jewellery. It is simply called 10k jewellery, how to calculate the Gem stone rate based on shape, colour, size. Participants learned about the difference between Kundan Jewellery and Polki Jewellery, why Kundan is less expensive than Polki. It was very informative session.
