DEBORAH KING, AICI CIP, is President of Final Touch Finishing School, Inc., which she founded in Seattle, Washington in 1989. At a young age, Deborah knew she wanted to help others project the best image possible. Her passion is to equip people from all walks of life with the necessary skills to move confidently from the informal to the formal with ease and grace. She teaches how best to evaluate each social and business circumstance and to respond with appropriate poise and manners based on a variety of cultural considerations.
Deborah has over 30 years of experience in the etiquette and image industry. She is one of only 128 Certified Image Professionals worldwide. Her training includes the Emily Post Institute, the Protocol School of Washington, Conselle Institute of Image Management, and IAPC Executive Etiquette Education. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International, National Association of Professional Women, International Association of Protocol Consultants, and the National Speakers Association.
She is a published author and serves as a frequent and reliable resource to the media. Deborah travels extensively both domestically and internationally, teaching her principles of etiquette and poise to individuals aged five to seventy-five.
Hailed as the Queen of Etiquette, Deborah’s warm teaching style is based on the simplicity of kindness and respect for self, others and property. Deborah has served as a consultant to Meadowood Napa Valley since 2003 and has presented programs for public and private schools, numerous clubs, churches, associations, and a host of companies, including, Hilton Hotels, Microsoft, Boeing, the University of Washington, the Sam Noble Foundation, and Cobb, Fendley & Associates. Her classes instill a greater sense of potential and increased confidence for all who attend.
A native of Seattle, she currently lives near Dallas, Texas.
